Job summary

RANDALL is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent with mechanical experience to oversee multiple crews on large commercial projects along the Space Coast of Florida, including Titusville. You will manage installation, interpret drawings and plumbing codes, and ensure safety, quality and timely completion.

Required: 10+ years of field experience, 5+ years in a foreman role, strong leadership, shop math skills, and excellent communication with foremen and other trades.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of field experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a Foreman trade level role.
  • Knowledge of Plumbing systems and their relation to mechanical systems.
  • Understand shop math.
  • Work with tools, metals and machines.
  • Understand English and follow directives to assigned helpers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate crews of Foremen, Plumbers and Helpers.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications for foreman and crew to produce finished product.
  • Attend job meetings.
  • Coordinate with department manager for manpower, tools, rental equipment, material deliveries, ensuring timely delivery to the jobsite.
  • Enforce safety regulations and company policies.

RandallConstruction is immediately seeking a top-tier PlumbingSuperintendent with Mechanical Experience to join our team to work onlarge, commercial projects along theSpace Coast of Florida. .

Position Summary:

Randall’s Plumbing Superintendent will oversee multiple crews and implement theinstallation of various sized plumbing systems, ensuring they align withmechanical systems and comply with all safety and code standards. You will managework sequencing, interpret blueprints and plumbing code, and ensure safe andtimely completion of all projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate all aspects of projects by leading teams of Foremen, Plumbersand Helpers
  • Interpret drawings andspecifications and relay information to Foreman and work crew to producefinished product.
  • Attend job meetings
  • Coordinate with departmentmanager for manpower, tools, rental equipment, material deliveries,ensuring that all items are processed for a timely delivery to the jobsite
  • Enforce ensure company policiesand safety regulations are adhered to
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Supervision of plumbing and equipment connections
  • Utilize experience to helpguide Foreman ensuring safe work practices and rate of productivity arekept
  • Coordinate with job with othertrades to avoid conflicts
  • Differentiate between contractwork and work that would be considered in addition to the contract
  • Communicate with Foreman andwork crew on what is expected of them and ensure that instructions areunderstood
  • Ensure that proper work qualityis achieved and instill pride in subordinates for work quality
  • Consult with foreman anddepartment manager regarding input on hiring dismissing workers
  • Interprets submittals and joborders as needed for project
  • Assemble procurement orders formaterials, equipment and tools required at each project commencement
  • Establish and adjust worksequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities ofequipment and assigned personnel
  • Evaluate Foreman and workersabilities and use expertise to ensure the most productive job placement ona day to day basis
  • Study schedules and estimatesman-hour requirements for completion of job
  • Review and ensure accurate timerecords
  • Follows health and safetystandards and complies with building codes
  • Writes report documenting theproblem and summary of actions taken
