Job summary

Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc is hiring experienced plumbers for full-time, on-site roles in Orlando, FL. Candidates should read blueprints, manage time efficiently, and install diverse piping systems on commercial projects. Leadership of apprentices and strict safety adherence are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and have a basic understanding of plumbing systems.
• Ability to manage time and production effectively following directions from the supervisors.
• Must be able to install and work with all the different piping and materials used in the trade.
• Lead and teach apprentice plumbers ensuring they are working safely within the company guidelines and policies.
• Skilled in the use of hands and tools used in the plumbing trade.
• Establish elevation and layout piping.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and 3D plans for commercial plumbing projects.
• Supervise and train apprentice plumbers, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Install and service piping systems and related hardware per specifications.
• Plan layouts, elevations, and material requirements for jobsites.
• Maintain tools, enforce safety standards, and manage time effectively.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or Permanent Residence due to government contract projects.

Requirements and Experience

• Must be able to read blueprints and have a basic understanding of the plumbing systems
• Ability to manage time and production effectively following directions from the supervisors
• Must have the ability to install and work with all the different piping and materials used in the trade
• Lead and teach apprentice plumbers ensuring they are working safely within the company guidelines and policies.

Qualifications

• The qualified candidate will have five (5) years of commercial plumbing experience
• To perform this job successfully, qualified applicants must be able to understand 3D plans and drawings
• Must be able to climb and balance on ladders, stand/ or sit for long periods at a time, must not have a fear of heights, among others
• Must be able to pass regular drug testing and be open to background checks
