Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking a full-time Plumber tech to perform skilled plumbing repairs, installations and preventative maintenance at our community.

You will work both independently and with the maintenance team, conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and assist with general maintenance tasks to uphold community standards.

Illinois driver's license with clean record is required; ability to drive company vehicle may be needed. 50 lb lifting and physical work are expected.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of plumbing experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must hold an Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Perform plumbing repairs, installations and maintenance

• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues
• Assist with general maintenance tasks (e.g. repairs, painting, landscaping)
• Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure community standards

Physical and Environmental Demands:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, temperatues vary)
• Stand, kneel, and climb for extended periods
• Wear PPE (personal protective equipment) as required

Requirements:

• Will need to drive our company vehicle from time to time; an Illinois drivers license is required with a clean driving record.
