Responsibilities

• Install and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems and fixtures in commercial buildings.
• Repair and troubleshoot leaks, clogs, low water pressure and malfunctioning fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and safety standards.
• Install and maintain backflow prevention systems to protect public water supplies.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Coordinate plumbing work with project teams and other construction trades.

A Commercial Plumber installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial buildings such as offices, hospitals, schools, and factories .
• Repair and troubleshoot plumbing issues like leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and malfunctioning fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards, working closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to meet local and national building regulations.
• Install and maintain backflow prevention systems to protect public water supplies.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system functionality and durability.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate plumbing work with other construction activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical school in plumbing is preferred.
• Licensing: Valid plumbing license as required by state or local regulations.
• Experience: Proven experience in commercial plumbing, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
