The Rockefeller University is seeking an experienced Plumber to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial facilities on campus in New York. Plant Operations offers comprehensive services at The Rockefeller University,including a full range of building trades services which are responsible for routine maintenance and minor/major space alterations,plumbing,electrical,carpentry,HVAC,grounds maintenance,locksmith,custodial,moving,and setup services.
Under the supervision of the Foreman and officials responsible for the coordination and accomplishment of plant maintenance and operations work, the Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment that support water distribution, wastewater disposal, air, vacuum, and gas services throughout residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. This position ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The Plumber maintains a clean and organized work area, troubleshoots plumbing issues, performs preventive maintenance, and supports the reliable operation of building infrastructure and systems.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on various factors, including but not limited to organizational budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range provided represents The Rockefeller University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
