Responsibilities

  • Lead plumbing projects including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications to plan layouts and installations.
  • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Estimate materials, equipment and labor costs for projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors and team members on requirements, timelines and progress.
  • Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
  • Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains and water heaters.
  • Cut, thread and bend pipes using advanced tools and techniques; weld, solder or join pipes.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose issues and provide solutions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
  • Keep accurate records of work and progress; train and mentor juniors.
