Job summary

Tzadik Management is seeking a skilled Plumber Technician to join our property management team in Sioux Falls, SD, servicing Rapid City, SD and Dickinson ND. You will maintain, repair, and install plumbing systems across residential properties.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting leaks, installing fixtures, performing routine inspections, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating with property staff and vendors to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid plumbing apprentice or journeyman/master plumber license.
• Prior experience in plumbing, construction, or maintenance is preferred.
• Basic knowledge in MS Office and Outlook.
• Interest in pursuing a career in plumbing.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Valid Driver’s License is required to complete the essential function of the position.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and basic plumbing codes.

We are currently seeking a skilled Plumber to join our property management team.

As a Plumber Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting in maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing systems across our residential properties.

This position is located in Sioux Falls, SD and will be servicing our properties in Rapid City, SD, Dickinson ND.

• Compensation: $35–$50 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and plumbing license or certification held (e.g., apprentice or licensed plumber).

Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of VP of Operations to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and broken fixtures.
• Help install new plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances, such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and pipes.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks, including clearing drains, checking water pressure, and monitoring for potential system failures.
• Measure, cut and assemble pipes, assist with testing plumbing systems for leaks or malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance on systems and equipment.
• Support the team in responding promptly to plumbing emergencies and ensuring timely resolution.
• Safely use and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and materials. Keep the work area organized and clean.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of repairs, inspections, and completed work orders.
• Work closely with property management staff, tenants, and vendors to ensure quality service and timely communication.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Adhere to property management standards, and local building codes.
• Other functions as assigned by VP of Operations.
