Job summary

Gabriel Plumbing is seeking an experienced plumber with at least five years of hands-on commercial and residential service. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, read blueprints, and install fixtures while maintaining safety and quality.

You will work with company trucks, tools, and gear, and pass drug and background checks. This full-time role offers a stable schedule (8-hour shifts, M–F, some overtime) and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum plumbing experience with 2+ years in commercial/industrial plumbing, service and repair.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Personable and clear communication with commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints and plans to execute plumbing layouts.
• Troubleshoot leaks, drain issues, and water heater repairs in residential and commercial settings.
• Install fixtures and perform hydrojetting and drain cleaning as needed.

Looking for stable pay, a full schedule, and benefits?? We are actively seeking a reliable, hardworking, EXPERIENCED PLUMBER to join our team! The selected individual must have at least 5 years hands-on commercial and residential service and repair experience, who will bring their best to work, with resilience to work through the normal difficulties of being a plumber, and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done right the first time. We are a company dedicated to QUALITY of service and are equipped to provide our team with work trucks, tools, cellphone, tablet, safety gear, and uniforms.

You will need to complete an official Gabriel Plumbing application and be able to pass a drug test & a background check before being offered the position.

Qualifications & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• 5 years minimum plumbing experience; at least 2 years hands‑on in commercial/industrial plumbing systems, service & repair
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Experience interacting with commercial environment customers is a must, so we ask that you are personable, presentable, and have friendly & helpful communication skills.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute precise plumbing layouts
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to accurately troubleshoot plumbing issues, drain backups, clogs, etc.
• Install plumbing fixtures in both residential and commercial applications
• Drain cleaning and hydrojetting experience required
• Ability to work on water, irrigation, and gas piping, including PVC, copper, PEX, black pipe, and galvanized pipe
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial application water heaters
• Experience with leak detection, Ridgid SeeSnake cameras, and other equipment to diagnose issues within existing systems and ensure proper functionality
• Great communication with office and supervisor
• Ability to calculate and provide written cost estimates for clients
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and be aware of the potential hazards associated with plumbing work
• Must be able to safely operate a service truck and have a clean driving record with no major violations

This is a physical job, be prepared to:

• Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and crawl for extended periods of time.
• Climb ladders and work in high places and attics
• Familiarity using a variety of hand and power tools, such as wrenches, saws, drills, chippers, and hammers, as well as specialized tools, such as pipe cutters, threaders, and press equipment, to assemble and install plumbing components accurately
• Work in a variety of weather conditions.

Salary range: $65,000 – $90,000 per year
