Job summary

Bill Howe Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking an experienced plumber to deliver high-quality service, repair, and installation. The Plumber diagnoses issues, assembles, installs, troubleshoots, and documents all job activities in Service Titan.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of service plumber experience, a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety and customer service. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants with at least 3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of Service Plumber experience is required.
• Knowledge of Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC).

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and service plumbing systems.
• Perform minor and major plumbing service and repair including valves, disposals, fixtures, gas lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair pipelines, sewer systems, water heaters (conventional and tankless).
• Prepare written work cost estimates for customers and document job activities.
• Communicate directly with dispatch and team leader.

JOB SUMMARY

The Plumber is responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing service, repair, and installation work while providing an exceptional customer experience. This role assembles, installs, troubleshoots, and repairs a variety of plumbing systems, including pipelines, fixtures, water heaters, gas lines, and sewer systems. The Plumber accurately diagnoses issues, prepares clear work estimates, and documents all job activities in Service Titan.

This position requires strong technical expertise, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while staying connected with dispatch and team leaders. The ideal candidate has extensive service plumbing experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and the Bill Howe standard of excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble, install, and service plumbing systems
• Perform minor and major plumbing service and repair including shower valves, disposals, fixtures (repair and replacement), gas lines, wall heaters, slab leak locations & repairs
• Troubleshoot, and repair pipeline systems, sewer systems, water heaters conventional and tankless
• Prepare written work cost estimates for customers and keep accurate records of job activities in Service Titan
• Communicate directly with dispatch and team leader

QUALIFICATION:

• 5 or more years of Service Plumber experience required
• Knowledge of Uniform Plumbing Code
• Clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairs.
• Operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copier, fax machine or scanner).

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Plumbers travel to a variety of worksites every day in a company vehicle.
• May work in varying temperatures; inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness. May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels.
• May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust.
• May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights.
