Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a licensed plumber in Lebanon, IN to support a pharmaceutical client. The role is a Monday–Friday first shift focusing on preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, installations, and troubleshooting of complex plumbing and mechanical systems.

You will read blueprints, perform light pipefitting, and coordinate with engineers and planners to keep facilities running safely and reliably. A valid CDL is required and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

  • Licensed plumber with 4–5 years of related experience.
  • Journeyman plumbing certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain house, process and utility plumbing and piping systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair piping and mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
  • Read blueprints and install modifications using various materials.
  • Provide preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
  • Repair and test water and medical gas distribution systems.
  • Ensure waste and vent lines are in good condition.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers and engineers.

About the Role

As a CBRE Plumber in Lebanon, IN, you'll be an indispensable part of a dedicated team, working a consistent Monday–Friday first shift to ensure the seamless operation and safety of critical facility plumbing and mechanical systems. This vital role directly supports a pharmaceutical client, where your expertise will contribute to maintaining environments essential for important work. You will be at the forefront of preventing issues and rapidly resolving challenges, upholding the highest standards of reliability and safety.

This hands-on position demands a licensed plumber ready to tackle a diverse range of responsibilities. Your days will involve crucial preventive maintenance, expert repairs, thorough testing, precise installations, and comprehensive troubleshooting across complex plumbing, mechanical, and distribution systems. Beyond core plumbing, you will apply your skills to light pipefitting tasks and provide essential support for pipefitting and welding activities. Your service-focused approach and technical acumen are key to keeping building operations running efficiently and effectively.

What You’ll Do
  • Install and maintain house, process and utility plumbing and piping systems, to include vacuum, air, steam, helium, caustic, acetone, nitrogen, chilled water, portable water, purified water, glycol, sanitary piping and waste systems.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze piping and mechanical failures and make appropriate repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Make modifications and new installations of piping to include plastic, carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, cast iron and glass. Must read blueprints and have knowledge of all state and local codes.
  • Provide preventive maintenance on a variety of house, process, and utility equipment systems, to include vacuum, steam, glycol, water, pressure, air, waste and mechanical systems.
  • Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
  • Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
  • Interact and communicate effectively to internal, external customers, share knowledge with craftsmen and peers including process, building and design engineers, and scheduler planner.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
