Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and design plans to determine layout and installation of plumbing systems.
• Install pipes and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers and water heaters.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, thread and connect pipes.
• Test pipes for leaks using air pressure or water pressure gauges.
• Repair or replace damaged pipes or fixtures.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and building codes.
