Job summary

Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc. is hiring a commercial construction plumber to join our team. You will read and interpret blueprints, install and troubleshoot piping systems on commercial projects, and mentor apprentice plumbers to work safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of commercial plumbing experience, can read 3D plans, climb ladders, and is flexible for overtime. Florida journeyman license is preferred but not required; we value hands-on skills and a commitment to

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and understands plumbing systems.
• Manages time and production according to supervisor directions.
• Installs and works with varied piping and materials.
• Leads and mentors apprentice plumbers ensuring safety.
• Proficient with hand tools used in plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission plumbing systems on commercial sites.
• Interpret 3D plans and drawings.
• Maintain safety and company guidelines.
• Manage overtime/weekend scheduling as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience

• Must be able to read blueprints and have a basic understanding of the plumbing systems
• Ability to manage time and production effectively following directions from the supervisors
• Must have the ability to install and work with all the different piping and materials used in the trade
• Lead and teach apprentice plumbers ensuring they are working safely within the company guidelines and policies.
• Skilled in the use of hands and tools used in the plumbing trade
• Establish elevation and layout piping
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• The qualified candidate will have four (4) to five (5) years of commercial plumbing experience
• To perform this job successfully, qualified applicants must be able to understand 3D plans and drawings
• Must be able to climb and balance on ladders, stand/ or sit for long periods at a time, must not have fear of heights, among others
• Must be able to pass regular drug testing and be open to background checks Florida State Journeyman license preferred but not required
