Job summary

FurstStaffing seeks an experienced plumber for residential and commercial plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance in Dixon, IL. Work hours are 7:20am to 4pm.

You will read blueprints, follow codes, diagnose issues, and document work orders for both new construction and service calls. The role demands a valid IL plumbing license, 5+ years in the field, strong problem-solving and customer communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois plumbing license required.
• Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience (residential and/or commercial).
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and appliances.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine repair solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes.
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Accurately complete work orders and service reports.
• Collaborate with HVAC and mechanical teams as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Plumber needed for residential and commercial plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance. Work hours 7:20am to 4pm. Located in Dixon, IL.
