Job summary

Staffmark Group in Destin, FL is hiring a Plumber for a direct-hire position. The role requires state plumbing license or equivalent military journeyman-level experience, plus 3 years in healthcare facility plumbing and backflow prevention certification.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with competitive pay of $25.00 per hour. You will install and maintain plumbing systems, read drawings, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety procedures and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• State plumbing license required or documented military journeyman-level experience (DD214).
• ICC Journeyman or Master certification exam passed.
• Nationally recognized plumbing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for water, steam, waste, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Repair and maintain sinks, faucets, valves, drains, sewer lines, and restroom facilities.
• Service grease traps, oil/gas separators, and backflow preventers.
• Complete preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance work orders.
• Read and interpret architectural, mechanical, and manufacturer drawings.
• Order materials and replacement parts as needed.
• Respond to emergency service calls as required.
• Train maintenance staff on plumbing practices and procedures.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and inspection reports.
