The Plumber is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of campus plumbing systems and related equipment. This role supports the Daytona Beach Campus by maintaining the swimming pool, Welcome Center reflection pond, and all university plumbing infrastructure to ensure safe, sanitary, and reliable operations.
The hourly rate for this position is up to $22.00. The final offer will consider the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, along with applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.
Required Education and Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED with proficiency in grammar, spelling, basic composition, and mathematics.
Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Clearances:
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Required Experience:
Five to ten years of related plumbing, mechanical, or maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting objects greater than 25 pounds, standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working in confined or outdoor environments.
