Amherst Operating Services in Cuero, Texas, seeks an experienced plumber for the StudioBuilt modular housing project. You will lead a team to install plumbing systems in our factory-built homes and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Applicants must hold a Texas JMN Plumbing License, have at least four years of experience, and be able to read blueprints. The role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits in a growing manufacturing environment.
Founded by Amherst, the full-service real estate solutions platform, Amherst StudioBuilt™ homes is an innovative approach to home development that utilizes offsite construction to create new housing supply at scale without sacrificing quality. StudioBuilt homes are constructed at Amherst’s housing studio in Cuero, Texas as well as partner studios across the Southeast and then installed on site. At full capacity, the Cuero facility will create over 250 manufacturing jobs, making Amherst the third largest employer in the area. The StudioBuilt team is comprised of experienced individuals from all trades, working to continuously improve the production process.
We are looking for professionals with a current or expired Plumbing license within Texas. If you possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership traits this is the opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of a new venture in Modular housing in the CUERO TX factory.
Must be able to communicate effectively (written, verbal) and maintain a professional level of interaction with all members of the company to deliver accurate information.
Must be computer literate to be able to read documents on computer or iPad.
