Winn’s Plumbing in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled plumber to join our team. You’ll own residential service and installation projects from diagnosis to completion, ensuring the customer experience is outstanding and all work complies with code.

You’ll read blueprints, troubleshoot a range of plumbing issues, and communicate clearly with homeowners and colleagues. We value problem-solving, reliability, and a commitment to doing it right every time.

Qualifications

• Valid plumber license (Level 1 required, Level 2-3 preferred)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1+ years apprenticeship under a master plumber required

Responsibilities

• Total Ownership: you run residential service and installation jobs from diagnosis to completion.
• Technical Precision: work is clean, code-compliant, and professional.
• Logistical Discipline: perform accurate material takeoffs and keep truck stocked and organized.
• Clear Communication: translate complex plumbing issues into clear options for homeowners and provide concise updates to leadership.

Compensation:

$75,000 - $95,000

Responsibilities

• Total Ownership: You run residential service and installation jobs from diagnosis to completion. You own the outcome, the customer experience, and the solution.
• Technical Precision: Your work is clean, code-compliant, and professional. You don't cut corners; you sharpen them.
• Logistical Discipline: You perform accurate material takeoffs and ensure your truck is stocked and organized. You arrive ready to win, not to "figure it out" on the customer's time.
• Clear Communication: You translate complex plumbing issues into clear options for homeowners and provide concise updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have valid plumber license (Level 1 required, Level 2-3 preferred)
• Great physical dexterity, must be able to safely lift 50 lbs, crawl, and work in tight spaces
• Current driver’s license and clean driving record
• Minimum of 1+ years apprenticeship experience under a master plumber required
• High school diploma or GED required

Non-Negotiables

• Strong documentation habits (photos, notes, job close-out).
• Professional, ethical presentation of options to homeowners.
• Consistent on-time readiness with a stocked, organized truck.
