Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in the United States is seeking a Program Manager to lead enterprise PLM transformation programs for strategic North America clients. You will drive delivery discipline, stakeholder coordination, financial awareness, risk management and client-focused outcomes across complex engineering and digital continuity programs.

This remote role includes 20% travel. You will connect engineering, manufacturing, IT, operations and suppliers to modernize platforms and ways of working

Qualifications

• 15+ years managing complex engineering, IT or digital transformations, including PLM delivery.
• Program Manager level experience with multi-site or vendor-supported programs and client accountability.
• Strong financial discipline across budgets, forecasting, scope, and change control.
• Experience leading onshore-offshore delivery models across North America and global locations.

Capgemini is looking for a Program Manager to manage enterprise PLM transformation programs for strategic North America clients. This role is ideal for someone who can bring delivery discipline, stakeholder coordination, financial awareness, risk management and a client-focused mindset to complex engineering and digital continuity transformations. You will help drive outcomes that connect engineering, manufacturing, IT, operations and suppliers—while supporting clients as they modernize the platforms and ways of working that power product innovation.

Your Role

• Manage large PLM transformation and Digital Continuity programs from mobilization through deployment, adoption and stabilization.
• Serve as a key client-facing program leader for client sponsors, program owners, Capgemini leadership and technology partners.
• Manage delivery governance, budget tracking, risk management, scope control, change governance and value realization.
• Coordinate blended onshore-offshore teams with clear accountability, quality gates, productivity controls and transparent hand-offs.
• Create structure across integrated plans, dependencies, milestones, backlog, burndown, executive reporting and decision forums.
• Support advisory and delivery-led growth through opportunity inputs, proposal support, renewals and follow-on program expansion.
• Embed AI-powered PLM practices, including AI-accelerated delivery, AI-assisted migration and testing, software factory approaches and augmented-engineering readiness.
• Build trust with clients and teams through clear communication, stakeholder awareness and collaborative problem solving.
• Bring client centricity, delivery ownership and practical judgment to complex decisions, risks and trade-offs.
• Maintain delivery balance through strong structuring discipline across scope, backlog, dependencies, primary and secondary tasks, burndown and reporting.
• Use delivery credibility to support renewal readiness, follow-on growth and long-term client value.
• Lead with One Capgemini, end-to-end ownership mindset across teams, geographies, partners and stakeholders.

Your Skills And Experience

• 15+ years managing complex engineering, IT or digital transformation programs, including PLM delivery experience.
• Program Manager-level experience with multi-site, cross-functional or vendor-supported programs and client stakeholder accountability.
• Strong financial discipline across budget tracking, forecasting, scope, change control and contractual commitments.
• Experience with major PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE, Aras or comparable solutions.
• Proven ability to combine delivery management with advisory support, solution inputs, executive reporting and account growth enablement.
• Experience leading onshore-offshore delivery models across North America and global delivery locations.

Good to have

• Engineering-intensive or regulated industries such as Aerospace & Defense, automotive, industrial manufacturing, energy or medical technology.
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, PLM platform certification or equivalent program leadership certification.
• Consulting or systems-integration experience, including client delivery, vendor-partner coordination and delivery-led account growth support.
• Multi-site PLM rollouts, Digital Thread transformation, AI-powered delivery practices, augmented engineering or platform modernization programs.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $88,544 - $207,401/Year

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
