Dover Corporation in Eagle Rock, Virginia is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Programmer to deliver high-quality electrical designs for control systems on Maag equipment. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering and have substantial experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.

The Electrical Engineer/Programmer provides the highest quality electrical design of control systems on the Maag family of equipment. Working independently but supported by sales and sales engineering, the incumbent is the electrical PLC representative for the customer’s controls equipment.
Generally, electrical engineers/programmers work in a plant setting. One of their main tools include a computer with proprietary software to create, and modify their programs. While performing the duties of this job in a plant setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, hot equipment, hot and cold weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE may be required.
3 year experience with programming in Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC
Experience in plastics processing equipment is highly desirable.

Monday to Friday 2 Shift 3 Shift Other: possible weekends, night hours or holidays as needed
25% - average trip is 5 days in duration; international trips could last up to 3 weeks.
