Position Description/Responsibilities:

PLC programmer to interface PLC sensors to Building Management Systems (BMS). This person would program/install sensors to capture and report on information regarding the maintenance of a building (pipe pressures, temperature readings, sensing wetness …)

Qualifications

• Create and document design requirements
• Create process flow diagrams
• Perform prototyping and testing of the designs
• Connect a sensor gateway to an Alerton BACnet controller via a BASrouter (Ethernet) and display values in the back-end web-based sensor system.
• Connect the Alerton BACnet controller to a Chipkin Modbus converter and display values in the back-end web-based sensor system
• Configure and connect a Bravo Controls T3 BACnet controller to existing building sensors and display values in the back-end web-based sensor system
• Knowledge transfer of the hardware and software environments
• BACnet, DF-1, and Modbus
