Job summary

Proactive Technical Limited is seeking an automation engineer to develop and optimize a standardized PLC software modular system for shuttle systems, using Siemens TIA Portal for programming and requirements analysis. The role includes creating software test specifications per EN 13849, performing acceptance and functional tests, and documenting and training teams on the implemented software standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automation technology, Mechatronics, Electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in control software development, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering.
• Excellent skills in PLC programming using the Siemens TIA Portal.
• Solid knowledge of drive technology (SEW/Siemens) desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of standards and directives (e.g., EN 13849, EN 528, IEC 62443).
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to work; commitment to quality.
• Team spirit and initiative to help shape innovative solutions for automated storage systems.
