Musicologie Augusta seeks an Early Childhood Music Class Instructor to lead 40-minute interactive classes for children aged 0-5 and their grown-ups, using provided sheet music and teaching notated songs. A warm, playful environment helps families engage with music and community events.

Ideal candidates are strong musicians with teaching enthusiasm for early childhood education, reliable, and excellent communicators with families.

Qualifications

• Strong musician with vocal ability and accompanying instrument skills (guitar, ukulele, or piano) preferred.
• Experience with early childhood or group teaching, or a willingness to learn.
• Natural communicator who connects with children and parents.
• Reliable, warm, organized and enthusiastic in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead 40-minute interactive music classes for ages 0-5 and their grown-ups.
• Learn and confidently teach notated songs each week using provided sheet music.
• Sing, move, dance, and play simple instruments.
• Create a warm, inclusive, and playful environment for every family.
• Support the mission of music for every child by building community through classes and events.
