AVAILABLE POSITION: PLAYER EVALUATION SPECIALIST

Reliance Baseball is expanding its national footprint and seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Player Evaluation Specialists. This is a unique opportunity to break into the professional baseball industry, gain hands-on scouting experience, and learn the intricacies of player representation.

In this role, you will evaluate amateur baseball talent, contribute to internal player discussions, and provide written reports that guide representation decisions. Success in this role looks like sharp evaluation instincts, consistent communication, and the ability to identify hidden-gem prospects. You’ll be an integral part of a growing team shaping the next generation of professional baseball players.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend high school or collegiate games and provide detailed scouting reports.
  • Evaluate athletic tools, performance, and makeup using Reliance Baseball’s grading system.
  • Scout DI, HS, and JUCO games and assist with prospect tracking in assigned territory.
  • Communicate insights and player summaries to the operations department in a clear, concise manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while representing the Reliance brand in the field.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Former collegiate or professional baseball players, or individuals passionate about starting a career in professional baseball.
  • Strong understanding of the game and keen observational skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently and adhering to reporting timelines.
  • Prior scouting experience is preferred but not required.
