Job summary

Steak 'n Shake Ashtabula is seeking a dressing table operator to dress, plate, inspect, and coordinate orders for timely service. You will expedite orders and communicate with other kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed within 5–8 minutes of receipt.

Responsibilities include maintaining dressing table temperatures, restocking, sanitizing, and following safety and uniform guidelines. Strong teamwork and clear verbal communication are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to follow plating specs
• Basic math and reading skills for order accuracy
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work quickly

Responsibilities

• Dress, plate, inspect and coordinate orders to ensure timely preparation (5–8 minutes after receipt)
• Expedite orders and call them to other operators
• Assist with preparation times, monitor dressing table temperatures, restock and sanitize workstation
• Uphold safety standards, uniform norms and company rules
