The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in media, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a collaborative mindset to navigate a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2–3+ years in a media role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Team player able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Billing experience is helpful.
  • Experience with a complex multi-brand portfolio preferred.
  • Global experience is a plus.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support global Platform Strategy and media across Mattel brands.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including procurement, finance and legal.
  • Maintain internal documentation and profiles in systems.
  • Provide operational support for cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Assist with budget tracking, PO creation and invoices.
  • Contribute to taxonomy and processes that enable activation.
  • Collaborate across internal groups and external agency partners.
  • Identify barriers and help teams execute solutions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Platform Strategy & Media Operations Coordinatorplaysan essential roleinsupportingMattel'sMarketing & Communicationplansacrossa category ofbrands.Theywillassistwithglobal operational support across Platform Strategy and Publishing, Influencer/Creator Marketing and MediaPlanning andStrategy. The ideal candidate willexcel in process deployment in multipleworkstreams,including:media, activation, finance, reporting, legal, procurement, to name a few. They will collaborate with multiple internal groups across Mattel, as well as external agency partners.

WHAT YOUR IMPACT WILL BE:

Supportglobal Platform Strategy (including content, social,publishingand influencer/creator) and mediaacrossall ofMattel brands. Key areas include:

  • Support theOperations team andprocess by working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Vendoradministrative and operational coordinationand discovery, including creating profiles within internal systems.
  • Work withProcurement,LegalandFinanceto help translate decisions into actions (this includes updating internal documentation and systems).
  • Provide operational supportforcross functional teams in marketing,global/regional media,platformstrategyandinfluencer/creator marketing.
  • Support financial operations, including PO creation and maintenance, invoice tracking, budget documentation, and coordination with Finance and Procurement.
  • Contribute to taxonomy and processes that simplify and enable activation.
  • Generalproblem-solvingmindset to work withteammates to navigate and overcomebarriers to execution.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Bachelor's Degreerequired
  • 2-3+ years in a media rolerequired. Must have passion foroperations,media,marketing,andproblem solving
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
