Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years of engineering management or technical leadership.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, C#, Python, or similar.
• Experience leading teams that design, build, and operate scalable, distributed systems or developer tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native systems, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers; set clear expectations and provide regular feedback.
• Own delivery for a portfolio of deployment capabilities from roadmap through launch and operation.
• Partner with product managers, architects, security engineers, SREs to translate needs into priorities and plans.
• Ensure services are designed and operated with safety, reliability, isolation, governance, and observability.
• Guide the team’s direction for AI- and agent-assisted engineering workflows with proper oversight.
• Use feedback and business priorities to improve developer experience and deployment success rates.
