HP Enterprise in Sunnyvale is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and debug software for high-performance networking and security systems. You will work on OS-level components, network subsystems, and embedded platforms, collaborating across hardware, QA, and customer teams.

The role requires 5–8 years in networking/embedded or security platforms, strong C/C++ and Python skills, and experience with Unix/Linux and hardware-software integration.

Formación

• Master or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in networking, embedded systems, or high-performance security platforms.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and hardware-software integration.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
• Ability to mentor others and contribute to a high-performance culture.

Responsabilidades

• Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software for high-performance networking and security systems.
• Develops software for OS, network subsystems, routing engines, utilities and embedded platforms.
• Collaborates with hardware, QA, system test, and customer-facing teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Investigates complex field issues via log-driven debugging and cross-layer analysis.
