Job summary

Glocomms is partnering with a leading global trading and technology firm to hire a Platforms Security Engineer in Chicago. This role focuses on securing endpoint infrastructure across a hybrid environment while ensuring performance and usability remain high.

You will manage endpoint security tools, coordinate platform upgrades, and work with engineering teams to deploy and validate security solutions. Strong scripting and familiarity with EDR/XDR tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting endpoint platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience and implementation.
• Familiarity with endpoint security tools (EDR/XDR, antivirus).
• Scripting or development experience in any high-level language.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
