Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a seasoned Platform SWQA Engineer in California to lead test planning and automation for HGX/DGX/MGX server platforms. You will work across OS, firmware, and CUDA software stacks, driving reliability testing and root-cause analysis.

Strong experience in Linux, CI/CD, and DevOps, plus AI/NLP tooling, is highly valued. The role involves cross-team collaboration in an agile setting and opportunities for equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience; or master’s degree.
• Proven OS/server automation, CI/CD, and DevOps with Python, Shell, Ansible, Jenkins, C/C++, Java, JavaScript.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting in bare-metal and VM environments.
• Experience with AI tools for NLP, LLM benchmarking.
• Experience creating AI test plans and automating test cases.
• Knowledge of FW, BMC/OpenBMC, PCIe, IO sub-devices, CPU/memory, UEFI, Redfish.
• Experience with GitHub/Gitlab/Gerrit, PXE, SLURM, Kubernetes/Docker.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute NVIDIA HGX/DGX/MGX platform test plans across servers, OS, firmware, and CUDA stack.
• Install and test various systems OS, server firmware and software stacks.
• Lead root-cause analysis for reliability/test failures and drive mitigations.
• Build automation front-end and back-end for server/OS testing.
• Review partner test results and prescribe additional reliability tests.
• Collaborate in an agile team to maintain high production-quality standards.
• Manage bug lifecycles and coordinate solutions with inter-group teams.
