Dorsia is looking for a Payments Engineer to lead the financial infrastructure of the platform. This role requires proven experience in building payment systems and working with hospitality tech. Candidates should have 5+ years in backend engineering with at least 2 years in payments.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $165,000 to $185,000 and includes benefits such as flexible PTO, medical coverage, and employee dining credits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with at least 2 years focused on payments systems in production.
• Hands-on experience with payment processors and thorough understanding of authorization, capture, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the core payments infrastructure that supports every financial transaction on the Dorsia platform.
• Design and maintain payment processing architecture and build integrations with payment processors.
• Work with Finance on reconciliation, reporting, and workflows depending on transaction data.
