Job summary

NorthHill Technology Resources LLC seeks a Platform Network Engineer (CI Polygraph required) to support critical IC programs in Chantilly, VA. You will join a team building and operating next‑generation data center networks for AI workloads, with opportunities to grow in advanced networking technologies and large-scale, mission-critical environments.

You will contribute to documentation, deployment, troubleshooting, and capacity planning while collaborating with seasoned engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in documenting, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-performance data center networking infrastructure.
• Learn, support, and progressively develop expertise with advanced networking technologies, including BGP, ECMP, VXLAN, Spine-Leaf architectures, MCLAG, RoCEv2, and related technologies.
• Assist in identifying performance trends, capacity constraints, and emerging issues before they impact services or customers.
• Partner with experienced engineers to deploy, optimize, and scale network infrastructure supporting AI and other demanding workloads.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues to resolution.
• Participate in network upgrades, implementations, testing, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Continuously expand technical expertise through hands-on experience, self-directed learning, mentorship, and training opportunities.
• Travel up to 20% as needed to support deployments, installations, maintenance activities, and operational support.

PLATFORM NETWORK ENGINEER (CI POLYGRAPH REQUIRED)

NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a Platform Network Administrator to support a critical Intelligence Community Program in Chantilly, VA. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a highly-respected Federal Integrator. Qualified candidates must have an active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
