Job summary

Atari, Inc. seeks an experienced Platform Games Asset Designer to lead art adaptation, optimization, and asset production across our global catalog.

You will deliver high-volume, spec-compliant asset packages for diverse platforms and ensure precise brand alignment. Responsibilities include creating capsule art, hero banners, UI assets, and 2D/3D art in Blender for WebGL/HTML5 integration, while adhering to platform constraints and IP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated portfolio with high-quality key art and asset optimization.
• Hands-on experience building/adapting platform assets for MSN/Reddit/YouTube Netflix.
• Expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator with non-destructive editing.
• Blender proficiency for 3D assets and light WebGL optimization.
• Familiarity with HTML5, WebGL, Unity asset pipelines and constraints.
• Deep understanding of platform guidelines, safe zones, and aspect ratios.
• Strong typography, composition, and visual brand discipline.
• Experience with milestone-driven workflows and asynchronous communication.

Responsibilities

• Produce complete asset bundles: capsule art, banners, icons, splash screens, store graphics.
• Adapt art for platform-specific parameters and display densities.
• Deliver production-ready layered PSD/AI files with clean alpha separation.
• Create 2D/3D assets and 3D models in Blender for web-ready use.
• Design and clean up 2D UI components, HUDs, and promo graphics.
• Enforce naming conventions and folder structures for easy builds.
• Audit deliverables against specs, safe zones, and platform guidelines.
• Incorporate Licensor feedback and brand guidelines with precision.
