Worldscape is seeking a real-time physics engineer to advance game physics, physics-based simulations, and tooling across our cloud/edge-enabled platform.

You will implement orbital vehicle dynamics, terrain/atmosphere dynamics, and robust collision systems while integrating with animation and rendering pipelines. Collaboration across disciplines and a passion for performance are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS/SE/Physics/Math or equivalent experience.
• 0–4+ years in real-time/game physics; shipped title preferred.
• Strong C++ and data-oriented design fundamentals.
• Experience with physics integration and debugging tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop game physics data models, simulation loops, and solver strategies.
• Implement core physics features: collision detection, entity controllers, orbital vehicle dynamics, and fluid/particle mechanics.
• Integrate physics with animation, gameplay systems, and rendering pipelines.
• Profile and optimize performance; lead multi-threading and SIMD efforts.
• Create tests, visualizers, tools, and workflows to accelerate iteration.
• Address crashes, regressions, and post-launch content stability.
