Job summary

Databricks, a leading data and AI platform, is seeking a Software Engineering Intern in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will join a team spanning full stack, backend, infrastructure, and cloud groups, with a dedicated mentor, as part of our 2027 intern cohort.

You will work on features end-to-end—from design to code—while learning how to build a platform that scales quickly with quality and security, collaborating with engineers and leaders across the company.

Qualifications

• You will graduate in fall 2027 or spring 2028 with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
• You have implementation skills with a general purpose program language, such as Python, Java, or C++.
• You have good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and OOP principles.
• You are excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to build features for the Databricks platform
• Manage your project end-to-end, including design, code, and feedback
• Learn about building a platform that scales quickly while maintaining quality and security
