Job summary

Sandvik AB is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and operate reusable integration capabilities for scale. You will translate architectural standards into production-ready, vendor-agnostic platform features used by development teams across APIs, integrations and event-driven solutions.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, automation utilities, and security controls, collaborating with architects, product specialists and delivery teams to improve platform experience and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Functions, API Management and Service Bus or Event Grid.
• Strong programming skills in C# or Python, plus scripting in Bash/PowerShell.
• Experience with integration patterns, APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, and API gateways.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep or similar).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our self-service integration builder using reusable platform components, templates and shared services for APIs, integrations and event-driven solutions on top of Azure Integration Services.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, automation services and utilities that support platform delivery and operations.
• Embed security, logging, reliability, quality and compliance controls into pipelines and templates.
• Translate architecture and technical standards into production-ready implementation patterns.
• Onboard and support development teams using the platform, improving capabilities based on feedback.
• Troubleshoot live integrations and own platform components in production.
