Job summary

Pano AI, a wildfire‑detection leader, is seeking a Platform Engineer to drive scale, security, and reliability across our SaaS platform. You will own infrastructure, guide operational processes, and work with a startup‑minded team that values ownership, collaboration, and practical problem solving.

You’ll design and run scalable systems on modern clouds, implement IaC, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers on tooling and standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fast‑paced SaaS or similar.
• 3+ years supporting production as Platform Engineer/SRE/DevOps.
• 3+ years cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• IaC experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or Puppet.
• Strong communication within teams and across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure.
• Optimize production systems as Platform Engineer and DevOps.
• Automate provisioning and deployment with IaC.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for faster delivery.
• Provide expertise in Google Cloud Platform and other clouds.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
• Create runbooks, metrics, and dashboards.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for production issues.
