Job summary

The Elite Job is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain internal developer platforms that empower software teams to build, test, deploy, and operate applications efficiently. You will create reusable tools, automate workflows, and promote self-service capabilities across teams.

You will collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, SRE, and security to implement scalable infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and secure by default configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms and IaC.
• Strong understanding of modern software development workflows and platform engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms that simplify development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Develop reusable tools, templates, libraries, and automation components for engineering teams.
• Create self-service workflows that provision environments, access resources, and deploy applications with minimal manual intervention.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate challenges into scalable platform capabilities.
• Maintain clear documentation for internal tools, platform services, onboarding procedures, and engineering standards.
• Build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Integrate quality checks, security scans, and compliance controls into workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve pipeline performance and deployment reliability.
