Platform Engineer III
As a Platform Engineer III, you will lead the design, automation and maintenance of scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure systems that support our products and services. You will ensure the platform is robust, reliable, and ready to meet the demands of a fast‑paced technology environment.
What you will do
- Design, build, and evolve an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) that provides self‑service capabilities for provisioning environments, deploying services, and managing infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure using Shell scripting, Python/Java, and Ansible.
- Build and create agentic AI workflows to accelerate product and technology teams.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and deploy containerized applications at scale.
- Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack/Datadog.
- Ensure infrastructure security best practices and maintain clear documentation.
- Collaborate with developers to improve onboarding, service templates, and workflows within the IDP.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar role.
- Experience designing or contributing to an Internal Developer Platform or developer productivity tools.
- Skills in Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) and programming (Python or Java).
- Hands‑on experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Proficiency with Git version control and branching strategies.
- AI skills and experience.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions (ELK/Datadog).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure and application security best practices.
