Job summary

Anthropic, a leader in responsible AI, is seeking a software engineer to build the GRC platform, turning compliance data into automated checks and real-time dashboards. You will design data pipelines, integrations, and services across our technology stack to provide a unified view of posture and risk.

You’ll collaborate with Security, IT, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, and Finance, leading end-to-end projects and enabling Claude-driven workflows for evidence collection and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or internal platforms.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or similar languages with cloud experience.
• Production experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong data quality and reliability mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines aggregating risk, control, and asset information.
• Create integrations to cloud infra, identity, HRIS, tickets, VCS, and CI/CD.
• Translate policies into policy-as-code and automated checks.
• Develop agentic workflows with Claude for evidence collection and analysis.
• Build dashboards and reporting for real-time risk and compliance visibility.
• Make architectural decisions to enable platform scale.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, Infra, and product teams to embed controls.
• Operate and ensure reliability and data integrity for audit reporting.
• Own projects end-to-end from design to deployment.
