Job summary

Trigyn Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer (Mid-Level) in New York, NY. The role focuses on building, operating, and maintaining internal platform services to accelerate software delivery, under guidance from senior engineers.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, manage Terraform provisioning on Google Cloud, maintain deployment pipelines, and support observability and security tooling in a mentorship-rich team environment.

Qualifications

• 60 months of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or sysadmin experience with 2+ years in a public cloud environment (GCP preferred).
• 36+ months experience with Google Cloud Platform services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Secret Manager.
• 36+ months experience with Terraform in established patterns.
• 36+ months experience building CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
• 36+ months experience with GitHub workflows and PR management.
• 24 months in an Agile delivery environment with sprint ceremonies.
• 12 months experience with Datadog for observability and 12 months with SonarQube in CI/CD.
• Bachelor’s Degree and Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Terraform Associate certification.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development workflows.
• Author and maintain Terraform code for GCP infrastructure provisioning.
• Support and maintain Salesforce/Gearset deployment pipelines and document fixes.
• Maintain SonarQube and GitHub integration for static analysis and security scanning.

Trigyn’s direct government client has an immediate need for Platform Engineer in New York, NY.

Description: The Platform Engineer (Mid‑Level) is a hands‑on engineering role on the newly established Platform Services team. This role contributes directly to building, operating, and maintaining the internal platform that enables development and operations teams to ship software faster and more reliably. The candidate will work under the guidance of the Lead and Senior Platform Engineers in a structured, mentorship‑rich environment.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting development team delivery workflows
• Author and maintain Terraform code for Google Cloud Platform infrastructure provisioning following established standards and patterns
• Support and maintain existing Salesforce/Gearset deployment pipelines, including troubleshooting and documentation
• Maintain the SonarQube and GitHub integration for static code analysis and security scanning
• Manage build artifacts using Google Cloud Platform Artifact Registry
• Support the observability stack including Datadog log forwarding, monitoring, and alerting
• Support GKE cluster operations including workload deployments and namespace management
• Manage Google Cloud Platform resources including computer, networking, IAM, and secrets management across dev, test, and production environments
• Migrate manually provisioned Google Cloud Platform resources into Terraform
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Applies engineering disciplines to cloud computing and brings a systematic approach to concerns of commercialization, standardization, and governance of cloud computing applications. Leverages the methods and tools of engineering in conceiving, developing, operating and maintaining cloud computing systems and solutions. Uses the economics of cloud resources to solve business problems.
• Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.
• 60 months of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or systems administration, including at least 2 years in a public cloud environment (Google Cloud Platform preferred; AWS or Azure considered)
• 36 months of experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, IAM, and Secret Manager
• 36 months of experience with Terraform, including reading, writing, and modifying infrastructure code within established patterns
• 36 months of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
• 36 months of experience with GitHub and Git workflows, including pull requests and branch management
• 24 months of experience in an Agile delivery environment, including sprint ceremonies and iterative delivery
• 12 months of experience with Datadog for log analysis and observability
• 12 months of experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube within a CI/CD pipeline
• Bachelor?s Degree
• Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Terraform Associate (HashiCorp)
