Job summary

Goliath Partners Inc. is hiring a Platform Engineer in San Francisco, CA. You will build and maintain the infrastructure and platform services that support AI deployments across enterprise environments.

You will own production infrastructure, cloud environments, deployment systems, monitoring, and incident response while collaborating with AI and application engineers on APIs and internal tooling. This is a fast-moving, autonomous role with significant impact.

Qualifications

• Background in CS or related field; degree preferred.
• 2+ years building/operating production software or cloud infra.
• Experience designing backend or infra platforms for reliability and performance.
• Strong understanding of identity, authentication, authorization, and APIs.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS integrations and business apps.
• Hands-on cloud infra, deployments, monitoring, incident management, on-call duties.
• Ability to work across app and infra layers to solve complex problems.
• Security/compliance experience valued (SOC 2, data governance).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain infrastructure for AI deployments across enterprise environments.
• Develop platform services: identity, auth, permissions, RBAC, access controls, audit logging.
• Create integrations with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Teams, Zoom, email, and voice.
• Build connectors to NetSuite, SharePoint, Google Drive, SAP, Oracle, and similar apps.
• Develop reusable provisioning frameworks for apps, integrations, and customer environments.
• Own production infra, cloud environments, deployment systems, monitoring, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure limitations as the platform scales.
• Collaborate with AI and app engineers on APIs and backend services.
• Automate environment setup, config, and deployment to speed customer production.
• Implement security controls for access, data protection, compliance, and auditability.
• Shape infra architecture and engineering standards as the company scales.
• Take ownership of major technical initiatives from design to deployment.
