Job summary

Alldus International Consulting Ltd. in San Francisco is seeking a Platform Engineer to take ownership of the reliable operation, deployment, and continuous improvement of our platform across SaaS and customer-hosted environments.

You will deploy, monitor, and upgrade platform environments, provide customer-facing support, and help optimize release processes. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration to enhance reliability and performance for all product lines.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems, including cgroups, filesystems and processes.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud workloads.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or OCI, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of release management and deployment processes.
• Understanding of distributed systems, networking and security.
• Proficiency with Bash, SSH, jq, curl, and Linux tooling.
• Familiarity with Go and TypeScript.
• Experience with Redis and MongoDB.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client, a growing Agentic AI-driven startup, is hiring a Platform Engineer to join the team in San Francisco. The successful candidate will take ownership of the reliable operation, deployment and continuous improvement of the platform across all product lines, including SaaS and customer self-hosted environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and continuously upgrade platform environments across SaaS and customer-hosted infrastructure.
• Monitor deployments, proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions before they impact customers.
• Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, customization and tailored solutions.
• Develop and improve internal processes for software releases, platform operations and customer support.
• Build internal tools that improve troubleshooting, automation and day-to-day operational efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead production incident response through to resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering and customer-facing teams to enhance platform reliability, performance and overall user experience.

Skillset

• Strong Linux troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems, including cgroups, filesystems, processes and container technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, including workloads, networking, volumes, ConfigMaps and Secrets.
• Experience working with major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure or OCI, alongside Terraform.
• Solid understanding of software deployment, release management and operational processes.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, networking and security fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Linux tools and technologies including Bash, SSH, jq, curl, TCP/UDP, Unix sockets, ps, strace and /proc.
• Familiarity with Go and TypeScript, with the ability to work across multiple programming environments.
• Experience working with infrastructure and services such as Redis and MongoDB.
• Excellent communication, customer service and problem‑solving skills.
