Job summary

ANAUTICS INC is seeking an experienced platform engineer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to create internal platforms that enhance engineering efficiency. Responsibilities include building deployment workflows, supporting infrastructure as code, and collaborating with teams on reliability strategies. The ideal candidate has over 4 years of engineering experience, strong automation skills, and is a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a Top Secret security clearance. AWS and AI experience are significant pluses in this role.

Qualifications

What you’ll do

• Build deployment workflows, service templates, developer tooling, and observability patterns.
• Support infrastructure as code, secrets, environments, and release automation.
• Partner with application teams to improve reliability and delivery speed.
• Document platform patterns and support adoption across teams.

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of platform, DevOps, SRE, cloud, or backend engineering experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
• Strong automation and production operations instincts.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret security clearance.
• Comfort working with ambiguous mission, data, and engineering problems.
• Strong written communication and ability to explain technical decisions to technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred experience

• AWS experience is a plus, especially secure cloud, GovCloud, serverless, data, or AI services.
• AI, machine learning, LLM, agentic workflow, or decision intelligence experience is a plus.
• Experience in defense, government, manufacturing, aerospace, logistics, or other mission-critical environments is a plus.
