Job summary

IP Fabric is seeking a hands‑on DevOps Engineer – Platform to advance the product platform. You’ll work on stabilizing, modernizing, and securing the platform, with emphasis on Linux, CI/CD, containers, and developer experience. You will decompose monoliths, move to containerized deployments, and enhance testing, packaging, and runtimes.

Role is hands‑on and eligible for L2/L3 levels. This remote role fits teams across the product organization, requiring strong GNU/Linux skills, modern software

Qualifications

• Strong GNU/Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands‑on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience building, maintaining, or improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Software development in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Ability to own technical implementation end‑to‑end.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices and version control.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote engineering team.
• EU citizenship or other eligibility to work in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve platform components using Python and TypeScript.
• Evolve the application from monolithic to modular services.
• Contribute to deployment model design and implementation.
• Move deployment toward container‑based approaches from Debian packaging.
• Build, improve, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve build and testing infrastructure.
• Facilitate local development and developer experience.
• Work with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Troubleshoot across application, runtime, containers, Linux, and CI/CD boundaries.
• Improve platform stability, performance, maintainability, and dev experience.
• Engage in technical discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers across the product organization.
• Apply testing, observability, and security best practices.
