Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a seasoned DevOps Platform Engineer to develop, manage, and secure a container platform across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will help solve clients’ toughest challenges by building container management software and advancing DevOps maturity within teams.

You’ll work with hybrid technologies, strengthen strategy and design, and ensure standards in containerization while facilitating secure adoption of containers and modern cloud platforms for mission‑critical

Qualifications

5+ years of engineering or infrastructure development.
5+ years developing Ansible scripts.
5+ years of Windows or Linux system administration.
5+ years developing tools and processes to drive DevOps/DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releases.
5+ years with VMware, VSphere, V Center, Kubernetes, or Docker.
Experience solving complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of developing, managing, and securing containers.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics, or 8+ years of DevOps in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and secure a container platform across cloud and on‑prem environments.
Help Booz Allen clients by building container management software to solve tough challenges.
Support strategy and design while ensuring standards in the containerization process.
Recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers.
Gain DevOps skills and experience while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.
