Job summary

Campfire in San Francisco is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build the platform that moves customers’ financial data and keeps it live and in sync. You’ll own end-to-end data pipelines and contribute to the AI agent stack that powers implementations.

Ideal candidates have strong full-stack fundamentals (Python, NextJS/React), experience building data pipelines (Snowflake a plus), and hands-on experience with AI agents or LLM-powered systems.

Qualifications

• Designs and builds data pipelines moving customer financial data reliably.
• Experience building AI agents or LLM-powered systems.
• Self-driven with ability to manage projects and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Designs and builds pipelines that move customer financial data reliably from source systems into Campfire — and keep it flowing once customers are live
• Ships major features on the AI agent that drives customer implementations, expanding what it can handle autonomously
• Partners with the implementation team to understand real customer data and transform it into platform capabilities
• Contribute to Ember, the shared agent stack powering Campfire's AI products beyond data integration
