Job summary

AllianceHCM is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join our fast-growing team onsite at our Shenandoah, TX campus. This salaried, full-time role places you at leadership exposure and high-impact client projects, with generous benefits and onsite collaboration during standard business hours.

You will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core platform capabilities, backend integrations, and API frameworks, working closely with Engineering leadership to balance debt,

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Manager, or Product Owner managing complex, platform-focused, or infrastructure-heavy products.
• Solid technical foundation.
• Ability to interpret system diagrams, discuss API structures, and understand data models (production coding not required).
• Hands-on experience in a technical role, such as software engineering, data analysis, or systems architecture (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core platform capabilities, backend integrations, and API frameworks.
• Partner closely with Engineering leadership and Staff Engineers to balance technical debt, scalability initiatives, and infrastructure modernization with new feature requests.
• Translate ambiguous business goals into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and system-level roadmaps.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog for core platform engineering teams and monitor core platform metrics.
