Job summary

Textron in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Plater DSC for the third shift. You will plate a wide variety of experimental or production parts with finishes such as zinc, chromium and copper, following established procedures and safety rules.

The role requires up to six months of experience in blasting, plating or chemical applications, and you will prepare chemical solutions, manage tanks and ensure correct plating thickness.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience blasting, plating or chemical applications.
• Ability to follow process instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plate a wide variety of experimental or production parts with plating such as zinc, chromium and copper.
• Add chemicals to solutions to maintain balance.
• Prepares pickling and stripping solutions bright dips and cleaners.
• Wires up and positions parts in tank correctly and times plating operations to obtain proper degree of thickness or type of plating.

• Prepares pickling and stripping solutions bright dips and cleaners.
• Wires up and positions parts in tank correctly and times plating operations to obtain proper degree of thickness or type of plating.

• Plating tanks, galvanometers, ammeter, solutions, etc.
