Ōnin Staffing in New Hope, MN, is seeking a plastics extrusion operator on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. The role involves setting up and operating extrusion equipment to produce color concentrates, following recipes, and ensuring ISO standards are met. Wage is $20–$22 per hour with weekly pay.

Responsibilities include setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, quality checks, and documentation of logs and data. Requires a GED/HS diploma, and at least 1 year of plastics manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Ability to read, follow, and accurately complete work instructions, recipes, and quality specifications.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous experience in plastics manufacturing (1 year).

• Sets up, starts, and runs all machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating/safety procedures and ISO standards.
• Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specifications and inserts into machinery, or ensures correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and inserts pre-blended materials into machinery.
• Monitors production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation; troubleshoots equipment and processing issues.
• Operates machinery to mix, extrude/discharge, or handle materials according to operating procedures.
• Examines materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.
• Performs all required machine cleaning.
• Documents work completed as required, including logs, data reports, and procedures.
