Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Machine Operator for a leading plastics manufacturer in Omaha, NE. The role supports the Production Department and emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability while handling raw materials and finished products across shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with competitive hourly pay based on shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use basic computer systems to enter and track production and quality information.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastics manufacturing equipment while following safety, quality, and production standards.
• Load, unload, sort, stage, and move raw materials and finished products throughout the production process.
• Inspect plastic parts for quality, dimensions, defects, and compliance with specifications.
• Monitor machine performance, identify basic equipment issues, and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting daily production goals and production schedules.
